Meet Tom
Thomas Pratt, DDS
Dr. Pratt is a North Platte native and graduated from North Platte High School. Dr. Pratt completed his undergraduate studies at Chadron State College. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2008 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry. Dr. Pratt practiced in public health in North Platte prior to his decision to open his own private practice in 2010, where he has been practicing ever since.
Dr. Pratt is easy-going and enthusiastic about the field of dentistry. He is a member of the ADA, the North Platte Rotary, the North Platte Chamber, and an annual attendee of the Nebraska Mission of Mercy. Dr. Pratt is happily married to his wife Melissa and they have two beautiful children, Caroline and Benjamin. They enjoy spending time as a family and traveling. Dr. Pratt is an avid sports fan and loves to watch the Huskers play. Melissa also graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and is a teacher with North Platte Public Schools.

Kari
Office Manager
Kari grew up in North Platte. She has worked in the field of dentistry since 2008 and takes great pride in helping patients further understand their specific dental needs and insurance benefits. Kari has three beautiful children that keep her quite busy. When she is not busy attending their sporting events, she enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, and is an avid Husker fan!
Logan
Registered Dental Hygienist
Logan grew up south of Lincoln in Cortland, Nebraska. In 2022 she graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry with a bachelor’s degree in applied science in dental hygiene. She recently was married and lives outside of town with her husband Khobi and her blue heeler Maggie. Together they enjoy spending time with friends and family. You might catch her playing volleyball at Pals or the Rec Center.
Kira
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kira grew up in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and earned her business degree from Chadron State College. A few years after she received this degree, she went back to school and earned her associate degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Northwestern Community College in Rangely, Colorado. She and her husband currently reside in Stapleton with their three dogs and six kids; two that are in college, one son-in-law that is serving in the Navy, and three that are still in school. They also have six kids; two that are in college, one son-in-law that is serving in the Navy, and three that are still in school. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, camping, boating, reading, and sewing.
Deandra
Front Office
Deandra has a Bachelor’s Degree in Equine Science from The University of Arizona. After years of working in the equine and veterinary industry, she joined that Pratt Dental Team! She and her husband, Tyrell, keep busy with their two children and their cattle ranch. When Deandra does have free time, she enjoys riding and showing her reining horses.
John
Sterilization & Lab Tech
John is the younger brother of Dr. Pratt, and the sterilization and lab tech at Pratt Dental since February of 2016. When he is not hard at work, his hobbies include reading (a-lot), computer games, and table top games.
Malorie
Dental Assistant
Malorie is our newest addition to the team! She grew up in Hershey and graduated from the Dental Assisting program at North Platte Mid Plains in 2020. Her and her new husband Jake enjoy being active and traveling.
Brandi
Scheduling Coordinator
Brandi graduated from Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture with an Associate of Applied Science Veterinary Assistant degree. She worked in the Veterinary field for 11 years before joining our team. She and her husband have 2 kids and enjoy being outside, riding horses, and staying active.
Our North Platte Location
Pratt Dental is located at 1301 South Willow St. We’re right on the corner of South Willow Street and East Francis Street just across Blue Star Memorial Highway from Walmart. No matter where you are in North Platte, we’re only a couple of minutes away!
